  Google, Chelsea, Michelle and David lean out through a window.

  ADRIAN:

  But! Nothing! We are going to take control of the food and the money that they printed.

  VANESSA:

  (Stands up)

  ADRIAN:

  I know, but I won't let a bunch of kids in control of London… and (Points John) this guy.

  VANESSA:

  Please, don’t do this!

  ADRIAN:

  I’m sorry Vanessa… but I just can do it… If I am alive is for a reason… I'm the one who should be in charge of this situation. I’m the older and the stronger!

  VANESSA:

  Please brother, don’t do it! Don’t be yourself…

  ADRIAN:

  I’m sorry… I have to! And also, we own the worm that makes electricity… That gives us an advantage.

  EXT. BUILDING RUINS. NIGHT.

  Chelsea, Google, Michelle and David see Adrian talking through a dirty window.

  GOOGLE:

  Oh, no, this is bad…

  DAVID:

  Bad? Too bad! That guy hates, hates a lot John. He is Vanessa’s older brother.

  CHELSEA:

  Hey! I saw that girl before…

  MICHELLE:

  CHELSEA:

  She was on the store, I tried to talk with her but she runs away and entered to a sewer.

  MICHELLE:

  Maybe, they caused the explosion!

  CHELSEA:

  Witch explosion?

  GOOGLE:

  Just before your arrival there was a huge explosion…

  DAVID:

  He talked about a worm that makes electricity?

  CHELSEA:

  I saw that too… well I only saw the tail of the animal and it’s huge… (Chelsea opens her eyes when she said “huge”)

  GOOGLE:

  We can’t let him to take the control…

  CHELSEA:

  Indeed… I don’t like him…

  INT. BUILDING RUINS. NIGHT.

  John wakes up. He is alone. Someone approach to him.

  JOHN:

  (Waking up)

  Who’s there?

  CHELSEA:

  Don’t worry! It’s me.

  JOHN:

  Oh, the new girl…

  CHELSEA:

  Yeah! “The new girl from Dover”.

  JOHN:

  Did you punch me?

  CHELSEA:

  No, the person who punched you was a big guy… I think his name is Adrian or something like that.

  JOHN:

  (Disappointed)

  Oh, no, he survived!

  CHELSEA:

  Yep, he is one of us, and I’m pretty sure that he is mad with you…

  JOHN:

  He was with a girl?

  CHELSEA:

  Yep… Vanessa, The blonde girl.

  John can’t stand up.

  CHELSEA:

  JOHN:

  John finally stands up with the help of Chelsea.

  JOHN:

  John and Chelsea walks out of the ruins.

  13. EXT. KNIEGGE’S STORE. NIGHT.

  The teenage survivors are gathered outside of the store. Chelsea and John come to the meeting; Chelsea is still helping out John to walk.

  Michelle sees Chelsea and runs to John.

  MICHELLE:

  (To John)

  Let me help you.

  JOHN:

  Thanks!

  Michelle looks with jealous eyes to Chelsea. Chelsea Walks away.

  Chelsea lifts up Hope.

  CHELSEA:

  (To Hope)

  This situation is so complicated; maybe I should have driven to France.

  Hope meows.

  CHELSEA:

  You always say the same thing.

  Mario and Luigui, still wearing the robes, are in front of the Survivors.

  MARIO:

  People, There has emerged a bigger problem than my brother’s. A larger enemy threatens us…

  Daniel, David and Diana approach to John and Michelle.

  DANIEL:

  (To John)

  Hey man, how you are!

  JOHN:

  (To his friends)

  You all left me behind.

  DIANA:

  Take it easy, John!

  JOHN:

  No, no, you are my friends and you are supposed to be on my side, no on his side (Points his brother). Look at him! He looks like a medieval monk!

  DAVID:

  We need to be together right now, this guy Adrian is so dangerous… You know him… He is always mocking on us at school.

  DIANA:

  Yeah, he is really old, he is like twenty something.

  Diana, David and Daniel laugh. Gale approaches to them.

  GALE:

  Hey, did you see Google.

  DANIEL:

  The strange little kid? No.

  DAVID:

  I was with him, but when we arrive, he disappeared.

  GALE:

  Did you see Darrel?

  JOHN:

  What about him?

  GALE:

  He’s gone. I’m worry about him… I’m going to ask the new girl, maybe she know something.

  Gale walks to Chelsea.

  GALE:

  Hi, are you ok?

  CHELSEA:

  Yes, I’m fine, thanks for ask, I mean, I’m in the twilight zone, but I’m ok.

  GALE:

  Did you see Google or Darrel?

  CHELSEA:

  No to Google, the other guy I’m not sure who he is.

  GALE:

  Never mind. (She walks to Mario)

  The survivors are talking with each other’s, ignoring to Mario and Luigui.

  MARIO:

  People, pay attention, this is serious! Google told me that; this guy Adrian wants to take control of our food supply; the store, and he want our currency: the phoenix.

  LUIGUI:

  We need to fight to him.

  Gale whispers something at Mario’s ear.

  MARIO:

  I see.

  JOHN:

  (To all)

  And that’s why I took command…!!

  MARIO:

  NO! You can’t do that!

  John walks to his brother, his friends try to stop him but they can’t.

  JOHN:

  (To their friend)

  Let me alone!

  John faces Mario.

  LUIGUI:

  C’mon guys! Not again!

  JOHN:

  I’m in charge now! And you all are going to do what I want.

  MARIO:

  NO! NO! NO!

  JHON:

  And, Could you remove that stupid robe?! You are not a monk!

  MARIO:

  NO!

  CHELSEA:

  (To Hope)

  I’m sick and tired with those two…

  Chelsea walks to the brothers. They are distracted fighting with each other’s that they don’t see Chelsea walking to them.

  CHELSEA:

  Alright! Enough of this shit!

  Everyone shut up. The brothers look at her.

  CHELSEA:

  This guy is so dangerous; he’s got an animal, a huge animal that makes electricity… and he is coming for us… So, we need to
stop this stupid fight and star to think what we are going to do… (Pause) We have two options; one: We fight, two; we run… This city is big, and, I think we can find another place to live.

  JOHN:

  No! I want to fight!

  MARIO:

  Me too!

  CHELSEA:

  OH! Great! The brothers finally are agreeing on something. (Pause) let’s fight!

  EVERYONE:

  INT. SEWER. NIGHT.

  Adrian is with his friends; Clive, Owen, William and Norman. They’re wearing London police uniform, as Adrian they are tall and have a lot of muscles.

  CLIVE:

  I like these uniforms… I mean, I look taller and smarter.

  OWEN:

  You always be an ass, no matter what you’re wearing.

  Clive and Owen have their hair black. William is blonde and Norman is bald.

  NORMAN:

  I look damn hot wearing this!

  WILLIAM:

  Yeah! Your bald head is shining…

  Adrian is sitting on a wooden box.

  ADRIAN:

  Guys! Guys! Enough! This is a serious thing… Let’s be professional.

  CLIVE:

  I still don’t get it, Adrian, I mean, why we have to steal the money that they made…? Why we just go to a bank in the City and take a lot of pounds… Let’s go to the Bank of England and take all the gold!

  NORMAN:

  (To Clive)

  CLIVE:

  Whatever…

  ADRIAN:

  OWEN:

  Why?

  ADRIAN:

  Because, Most of the banks that we saw, when my sister and I walked throughout the City were in ruins or burning in flames. It is as if someone had attacked them on purpose.

  WILLIAM:

  Who?

  ADRIAN:

  I don’t know… but, I think that all the banks in London are in ruins.

  Adrian stands up and opens the box. Inside of the box are like 20 assault rifles.

  ADRIAN:

  Let me explain what I have in my mind, boys… The mankind always has work in this way; they create something… We (The strongest ones) Take the control of the invention, and use it to control them. This is how evolution works. The survival of the fittest!

  OWEN AND NORMAN:

  Yeah!!

  The boys slap hands with each other’s.

  Someone enters in the little room and says: “Whoever controls the money controls the world”.

  The friends turn their heads to see the person.

  ADRIAN:

  Look who we got here! The little banker: Darrel.

  DARREL:

  Are you ready for this?

  ADRIAN:

  (Walking to Darrel)

  “Give me control of a nation’s money supply, and I care not who makes its laws”.

  DARREL:

  Our parents were good friends, they believed in the power of banks…

  ADRIAN:

  I believe in the power of banks, too, my dear Darrel.

  DARREL:

  So, are you guys ready?

  NORMAN:

  Yes, we are.

  ADRIAN:

  Let’s go and take the control of the phoenix!

  NO!! Someone said in the darkness.

  ADRIAN:

  Who’s there?

  Google walks out from a dark corner.

  GOOGLE:

  No! I won’t let you revive the banking system!

  DARREL:

  But, you told to Mario that; distribute the money he printed. I was there.

  GOOGLE:

  Yes, But I didn’t said to him with debt, and that is what you want to do.

 

  ADRIAN:

  Who is this little punk?

  DARREL:

  He is a new kid… We don’t know him very well.

  ADRIAN:

  What are you going to do to stop us?! Uh?

  Everyone laughs but Darrel.

  Google pulls out of his pocked a Molotov cocktail and a lighter.

  ADRIAN:

  OH!! He is bad…

  Google lights the wick.

  GOOGLE:

  You don’t understand. They feed with the banks.

  DARREL:

  Who?

  GOOGLE:

  (Whispering)

  They… (Throws the Cocktail to the box)

  It makes a huge explosion. Google runs away.

  ADRIAN:

  Get that kid!

 

  Vanessa enters.

  VANESSA:

  What’s happening?!

  ADRIAN:

  Stay out of this!

  CUT TO…

  INT. SEWER. NIGHT.

  Google runs for the narrow corridors of the culvert. He’s got another Molotov cocktail on his hands. Adrian and his friends are following him closely. Finally, Google arrives to a small dark room; the big pink worm is on it. The worm is tied to the ground with a metal chain. Google lights the cocktail.

  Adrian and his friends arrive to the small room.

  GOOGLE:

  Do not approach to me! Or else (Shows the Cocktail)

  ADRIAN:

  Ok, Kid, take it easy… I found that worm… and that think makes electricity… we need it…

  GOOGLE:

  This entity doesn’t belong to you!

  ADRIAN:

  It’s mine!

  GOOGLE:

  The worm, as you called it, has another function.

  ADRIAN:

  How do you know?

  GOOGLE:

  I can’t tell you!

  Clive has a gun on his hands.

  ADRIAN:

  (To Clive)

  Shoot him!

  CLIVE:

  What?! No! He’s just a kid!

  ADRIAN:

  Then, shoot to the wall, but do something! I just want to scare him!

  Vanessa arrives.

  VANESSA:

  What are you doing Adrian?!

  GOOGLE:

  Adrian, you can’t listen to them, they are mean, and they want the humans as slaves!

  ADRIAN:

  (Stuttering)

  W-W-What are y-y-you talking about?

  GOOGLE:

  You know what I’m talking about! You have been contacted…

  ADRIAN:

  (To Clive)

  Do something!

  CLIVE:

  Sorry man, I just can’t…

  Adrian takes the gun.

  VANESSA:

  No! Brother! Don’t do it!

  Google drops the Cocktail to the Worm.

  There’s a huge explosion. Google runs away.

  There’s a lot of smoke in the small room.

  ADRIAN:

  AH! Those kids are doomed!

  CUT TO…

  EXT. KNEGGE’S STORE. NIGHT.

  Google runs to the door of the store.

  GOOGLE:

  Here come the redcoats! Here come the redcoats!

  Chelsea comes out of the store.

  CHELSEA:

  What?! What is going on?

  GOOGLE:

  They are coming!

  CHELSEA:

  Who’s coming?

  GOOGLE:

  Adrian and his friend!

  Mario, Luigui, and John come out of the store too.

  JOHN:

  (To Google)

  What did you do?

  GOOGLE:

  I did what it’s meant to be done!

  CHELSEA:

  What?

  GOOGLE:

  I destroyed the worm!

  JOHN:

  Which worm?

  CHELSEA:

  “The animal” that I told you before.

  JOHN:

  I see.

  MARIO:

  (To Chelsea)

  What are we are going to do
now?

  CHELSEA:

  We'll do whatever it takes! Without fear!

  Zoom in to Mario’s face.

  FADE TO BLACK…

  STEPHANNY (V.O.):

  What are you think, Mario?

  FADE TO WHITE…

  INT. CAR. MORNING. (DECEMBER THE 21ST 2012)

  Christopher, Stephanny and Mario are on the family car. Christopher is driving, His wife is beside him.

  MARIO:

  I’m thinking about my brother… I just can’t understand why he is such an asshole!

  CHRISTOPHER:

  He’s got issues, like everyone else. (Pause) He lost his father… We need to understand him.

  MARIO:

  I try to understand him, I really do… but… He is impossible!

  STEPHANNY:

  He can’t… (Sees to Christopher) He can’t deal with our situation, our relationship…

  Christopher sees his wife. She smiles to him.

  MARIO:

  Dad! Don’t forget that we need to pick up Luigui.

  CHRISTOPHER:

  Don’t worry, I won’t…

  STEPHANNY:

  (To Mario, smiling)

  Let’s think about the beautiful things of life… uh?

  Mario smiles to his mother.

  FADE TO WHITE…

  Christopher stops the car on a corner. Luigui enters.
