  Chapter-I

  Rishi had just came back to his house after playing hectic football match and was desperate to tell his dad about his team's victory. His dad was an engineer. He was watching news channel i.e. ‘The Probes’. The Probes channel was an interesting channel. It told about dangerous happenings in our surrounding. Today the Probe's news reporter was talking about a great tsunami in India. According to reporter it will strike India in next one week and he also said that it is so dangerous that no arrangements can stop this tsunami from striking Mumbai and many more places in the coastal line of India. No scientist knew the actual reason behind this.

  By that time dad had gone to sleep so rishi started watching his favorite show Comedy Circus. The comedian Jojo said to Fafa who was acting as water, “Are you hungry water? Why are you eating our black painted home?” Everybody laughed in the show but Rishi didn’t laugh as he thought this a serious matter. Rishi was concerned and slept in worry as he was living in a coastal place. The next day when he went to school he saw that many children had already left the school. The school was shut for indefinite time by the District Authority. He had to go back alone in his bus. Rishi had learned that we always use water unnecessary without caring about it. Water is very neccessary for our lives. Without water we could not live. Rishi knew this was true but he also knew that only a meager 5% people understand this. When rishi came back home his mom opened the main door and said to rishi that it is true a big tsunami would strike India in next one week. She also said that we would move Delhi next morning. Rishi quickly helped his parents in packing the bags. At 4: 00 AM Rishi and his family headed out in taxi and went to airport but sadly all flights had been cancelled due to the bad weather. when Rishi's family was heading back to home Rishi saw the angry waves rising near sea beach and striking the rocks making different sound but sounds were seeming to be in a pattern which was little difficult to understand by Rishi but he could understand it. Rishi asked his sister Suhani that did she hear that sea shore sound patterns but she said a loud no as she was already angry due to flight cancellation. Rishi nodded her answer and he also ignored that sound.

  The next morning Rishi woke up at home in his bed. Rishi understood that mom and dad had gone to book ticket for train or aero planes as they wanted to get out of city as soon as possible. Rishi quickly went to bathroom to take bath but there he saw that something strange was stopping the water to flow out of tap, so Rishi fully turned the tap on to see what was choking the tap but suddenly lot of water started coming out of tap fooding the bathroom and drowning Rishi. Rishi tried to swim in that flooded bathroom to reach to the tap to turn off the knob but it seemed that water was stopping him to reach near the tap. Rishi could not counter the strong water currents anymore and ran out of bathroom and fainted. In his dream he saw a huge man made of water holding a trident and having tail of fish instead of legs. The huge man asked the small mermen made up of water for report. One of the mermen said “Master, we have found that due to the new invention, humans used for tracking tsunami they have got the early warnings and forecast about the tsunami that we would use tsunami for destroying them." The huge man answered in his heavy and proud voice." No matter what they do, we shall get our revenge. Remember how carelessly the humans polluted us, this proved that they were worse than monsters and would be punished very strictly." He also announced that humans could save themselves from him if they admitted their mistake before tsunami and begged for forgive. Then the huge man pointed at Rishi and said "you are the choosen one, and you shall give our message to the world before tsunami." Just after that Rishi’s dream started fading into darkness.

  When Rishi woke up he was lying in bathroom and his parents and sister were seeing him in worry. Rishi knew that they would not believe him so he kept his mouth mum. Rishi took a deep breath and stood up but he was amazed to see the face of that huge man in the bath tub, he quickly called mom and dad but everyone was scared as frozen ice now was coming out of every tap. The water man looked at Rishi and said "I came to you to tell you this is not a dream, you shall fulfill the quest, I, the god of sea ‘Neptune’ gave you' then Neptune started fading in water and the ice vapourized. Now Rishi knew that if he still thought this as a dream he would be responsible for the destruction of Mumbai and many other coastal cities.
