I gave it like that, because truly there is a family group of ours and my main purpose was them. Read it and enjoy it. Don’t forget to review it and rate it. Ignore my grammar and spelling mistakes. And there might be a lot of tense mistake. Hope you enjoy my book.

  Chapter 1

  Welcome

'Welcome to the haunted forest. You have stepped in a place where once a person gets in can't sleep at night because of the haunters and nightmares, can't sleep at morning because there is no morning in this haunted forest. Yes, you have read it right, there is no morning in this frightening forest. The haunted trees don't let it become morning. There is no sign of human life in this forest, and even if there is, haunted wild life will not let you stay there nor it will let get out of there. It will remove your existence, but only if you lose your fight with them. But this haunted animals and trees are nothing against the haunters because no one has the ability to destroy them. No nuclear bomb, no machine gun, no sniper, no pistol, no grenade, no knifes, nothing could defeat them except day light. How do I know these things? I myself is a haunter. Yes, I am a haunter but not a full one. I have haunted people but just to prove my surrounding haunters that I have become like them so that they don't kill me. I actually an half human and half haunter. It was about five years ago when I came for a visit to this forest with my cousins, where all of them were haunted badly and I was the only one left so I had no other chance to live then acting like them. I still search for a way to get out of here but still now it has impossible.'

"Do you ever think your writings can come true, my dear nephew?" asked my uncle, Masud. "And why are you even writing these things, right in our joyful trip?"

"Sorry uncle, but you know I have participated in this writing contest of writerscafe.org where I have to submit a writing which should be related to horror. So I have been writing for it and the submission is 26th June. Just 18 days left, and you know writing a book isn’t that easy. "

"Do you want to be a writer in the future?"

"No! It’s just one of my hobbies; I really want to be a computer engineer."

"Hmm. But your description is really nice. You don't believe it can come true. We are also visiting to a forest where until now no body visited since 1958. People do say things about it."

  "What do they say?"

"Ah! Those aren't true. People just make it up. You don't want to hear those."

"Of course I do! Tell me please; maybe I can add it up with my writing. Do you think we can be haunted in this forest, or something scary happens so that I can add it in my writing?

We were having a family journey or you could say trip, but I find the word journey more adventurous as we are visiting to a forest of Sylhet where nobody visited since 1958 as it is told by Masud uncle. This journey was decided by us. We have a group for our family named THE HOUSEFULL, so we housefull members decided to have a trip to this forest. We might discover something new.

"Hey, uncle why don't you tell about what the people’s belief to everyone. Everyone might get scared, it would be really fun. Later we will tell them that it is false. It’s just people’s gossip." I suggested him.

  "Nice idea." He said.

  Chapter 2

  People’s Belief

"Everyone, I have to give some news about the place we are just visiting. So, I do want everyone's attention." Masud uncle announced loudly as he got up and went in front of the bus we were traveling.

"What news?" asked another uncle of mine, Gulzar, who is smaller than Masud uncle.

"Something very scary." Masud uncle said with evil grin.

"What do you mean by scary news?" asked my big brother, Sumon.

"Let me say it." he said. "A lot of years ago, at 1958, this forest was actually was kind of a motel as there was a big castle inside it. People from places who would travel around could take rest in this castle which was owned by a rich man whose whole property was that. So one day, the owner of the castle was murdered and from that time people would get in the house and take the things they would like. So, after some months going, when a family got up in this castle was haunted by the ghoul of the old owner of the house. And from that time nobody would go to that castle not even near the forest because whoever got in that place never came out."

"What are you saying? Then why the hell are we going there." my big sister, Ruma shouted out in fright. "We should get back to home."

"Hah Hah ha!" I couldn't hold my laugh any more. "You believed that. That is impossible. There is nothing like ghouls. Okay!"

"Hah ha! You are right Emon." Masud uncle supported my comment.

After that everybody in their seat started to gossip and I was sitting at the last seat of the bus playing game in my brothers mobile. Temple Run 2. It was a quite addicting game.

That is when Akram via, one of my cousin, he is my father's sister's son, came and sat beside me.

"How is your book going?" he said.

"Yeah! Going well, I took the old owner idea. Quite funny isn't it. People making up such beliefs. What is the use of it?"

"Ah! Those are just useless speeches. Those people are mad. Enjoy your trip. Let me have a sleep, we will be soon reaching the forest. Hope you have enough energy to walk, because the bus driver will not drop us in front of the castle, we have to walk there.

  "Why not?"

  "You know, those stupid beliefs."

  "Oh!"

Really it did hit my mind. Why would people believe in such thing? I believe that there are jinns but still not ghouls. Ghouls aren't true things. If those things are true, then will that thing happen to us? Is it the Jinns who take the appearance as ghouls? I really some time imagine that they waiting for us so that they haunt us, though I didn't truly believe those.

  Chapter 3

  Is it DREAM or REALITY?

Every housefull members were deep in sleep except me because I was too busy with my game. I know my brother would get super angry because I brought the charge to 75% from 100%. I was then too sleepy and turned myself toward the window looking out at the dark view outside.

A sudden view came in front of me, out the window, an old man running with a great speed. What the, was I seeing something true. Was that guy seriously doing it? That astonishing view shocked me. I was too much scared.

I quickly turned around and shouted in the ear of my big brother, Akram and said him to look out. “Look out there!"

  "What I can't see anything?"

"What are you saying?" I said as I looked b
ackward of the bus thinking if the old man might have stopped running. "What the hell, just now there was this old man running."

"Ah! So what’s the big deal of someone running around?"

"No, he was running with the speed of bus. It was an old man. And I think he had no hands, no, no, I think he had no legs, but then how was he moving?"

"You know Emon, you are not making any sense. How could an old man run at a speed of 65km? And why the hell would an old man run around at night? You must have seen something wrong. "

"No, it’s true. I have seen it. Believe me."

"Emon, I think you just had a nightmare, as you have been hearing about it and then you are thinking about it a lot, so stop it and go back to sleep. It was just an illusion of yours." he just denied me and turned the other way.

Was I really dreaming about that old man? It is true that I was thinking about these ghosts and jinns a lot but I do have sense enough that I was not dreaming, and I don't think it was an illusion. I was hundred percent sure that I was not dreaming and it must have been a reality. No, but there aren't such thing. I was really confused. Was it an illusion, but it can't be? I couldn't just think of anything so I decided to go to sleep looking the other way rather than look out the windows.

  Chapter 4

  We are ATTACKED

The next moment, when I was sleeping, I did not know how long I slept, but I don't think I slept for long, because soon enough a sudden strong brake was taken by the bus for which we were move out of our seat.

"What happened? Why did the bus stop? Have we arrived?" shouted my uncle, Misba, who was even smaller than my uncle, Gulzar.

"Why did the bus stop?" Masud uncle asked the bus driver as he was not answering anything. He was looking pale and too much frightened.

"What happened uncle?" asked my cousin sister, Happy.

"I t-think t-they have a-attacked us." the bus driver said with a broken voice.

  "Who?" Masud uncle asked.

"The ghoul of the old man."

"Off! Of course not. He is dead. Just check out. It might have been the tires."

The bus driver got off to check the tires. The tires were fully okay.

"May be the engine caused problem." I suggested.

The bus driver checked the bus engine and saw black smoke coming out of it.

"Yeah, the engine has caused the problem, but I-I can't believe it. I checked everything this morning before starting the journey." the bus driver said.

"There can be a problem. It's not related with ghouls and ghost." my big cousin, Sunny said.

"No way! This bus is really good. I am grand sure the old man's ghoul must have came to know about we are coming, so he wants to stop us before we go to the castle of his. You must not go there."

"Hey! Stop you stupid imagination. There is nothing like ghouls. Okay!" my big cousin, Akram said.

"I said you, that place is haunted and you should not go there."

"Is it really haunted uncle?" my sister asked to Masud uncle.

"Oh! This guy is just a scary cat." my uncle whispered in the ears of my sister, though it was loud enough for all of us to hear.

"Look, I am not going any more. I stop here." The bus driver said.

"Hey! You promised to drop us in front of that tea shop near the forest. There our guide is waiting." My cousin, Akram said with a voice of disappointment.

"It isn't much far. You can go there walking. I can't drive you there, as the engine is damaged and I will never agree to walk there with you. He is here to haunt us." He was still thinking of the ghoul.

Though to be truthful, now I was also feeling very scared. After looking at that old man running as fast as the bus, I really can't make my mind accept that it was an illusion. My eyes were open, and I did have enough sense that will make me sure that I was not having a dream sitting awake. And now, our bus is stopped. I was just unable to stop questioning me that' is this place really haunted?’ But I never believed in ghouls and I don't think I will believe in them. So is it a jinn which is haunting us. But then why? My mind was just creeping me. I couldn't find out any solution for my thoughts, and even if I asked my cousins they would just say that I have started to believe like others. But I do feel like that we are attacked by the jinns.
