Escape From Cell Block Six, Page 2

At 11:55PM Mike stood up from his bunk and went to the window of his cell. It was a small window with only five bars on it spaced about 4 inches apart but it allowed him a clear, unobscured view of the train tracks that lay about 15 feet away from the window just outside of the prison fence. At 11:59 the sound of the train's whistle could be heard in the distance and Mike's heart began to race inside his chest. “This is it!” he said quietly. “It's coming!” And just as quickly as this thought entered Mike's head, the train came rushing past his window and in the blink of an eye Mike was taken from his prison cell and found himself riding alone on a dimly lit car of this speeding train. He'd made it! But to where?
