but I didn’t trust what I was seeing. I kept wriggling my wrists as they watched me look at them. The bright white lights began to appear above me.

  Up close the white spots of lights looked like little pixies. I must have been hallucinating. The white pixie lights danced about above me as I watched in amazement. They became brighter and brighter.

  Then I noticed the space above the white lights began to warp. I was scared; in all honesty I felt terrified, more than I’d ever been in my life. All the wiggling and pulling at the chains had done nothing to get me closer to freeing myself. The warping air began to blacken and looked like a black hole had formed above me. I knew this was going to be the end. My curiosity had gotten the better of me and was about to put an end to my existence. The fire beam lit up and came down upon my body. I heard part of an ear shattering bang and then nothing.

  I found it odd that I was aware, but heard nothing. I also realised I could sit up. Where ever I was, it was almost fully pitch black and quite cold. I was on the floor which felt like smooth concrete. I stood up and felt out in front of me as I walked forward.

  After feeling a wall and making my way around the perimeter, I realised I was in a room about 10 feet by 10 feet. There seemed to be no furniture at all in this room. I also realised that the room had no doors or windows; just a hole in the ceiling about one inch across where a faint light found its way down inside. Fear hit me big time as I realised I was trapped in this room. I began to yell. I used a variety of calls ranging from ‘Help!’ to ‘Hello, anyone there?’

  Suddenly the room felt like it was shifting side to side. I quickly knelt down to stop myself from falling over. As the room moved I heard a sucking sound and then a dull metallic thud. The room stopped moving and suddenly everything became quiet. I began to yell again.

  There still was no response from anyone or anything. I slowly stood up and looked up at the hole in the ceiling. I instantly noticed a hissing sound begin and I spun around to see a very thin glowing white line start at the bottom of the wall and move up and around as if an invisible marker was drawing a door on the wall.

  The hissing stopped and an electronic wobbly hum sound started as the outline of a door became a real door and it slid to one side, revealing an opening for me to leave. All I could see at first was bright light.

  I walked cautiously towards the newly formed doorway and slowly poked my head out into the unknown environment. The landscape was mostly a flat desert landscape with occasional hills on the horizon.

  What made this landscape different to what I’d seen before were gigantic crystal points jutting out of the desert sand. These crystals ranged from the height of a two storey house to the size of a city skyscraper one would see in New York. I stepped out onto the sand and discovered it actually felt cool outside considering the sun was high in the sky.

  I turned to look back at the box like room I had been trapped in and all I saw was an opened door way standing alone on the sand with no visible room structure to be seem. The door slowly closed and vanished.

  I was unable to understand or explain what has happened to me, but I figured I had to move on; I appeared to be in the middle of nowhere, on a planet that I guessed was not Earth. I turned back and picked a crystal in the distance as a focal point; and began the long journey of finding some form of population.

  If I had ended up here, so would all the women I’d seen in the foundry and that gave me a positive outlook that I should be able to find someone out here. The sand was similar to what one would find on the beach. Soft, and also firm to walk on.

  I checked the time to see how long I had been walking. It had been 3 hours and I hadn’t stopped the whole journey. My mouth was dry and my topless torso was being to get a reddish tint to it. I was almost at the crystal I picked out to walk towards. I had no plan of what to do once I arrived at that point.

  There was no sounds; not a breeze, animal or other people. It was another hour before I arrived at the huge crystal point. I noticed that the sunlight refracted through the crystal, shooting very bright, rainbow light onto the sand. I reached out and went to touch it. Before my hand made contact with the crystal, my skin tingled and the hairs on my arms stood up. I decided it might not be wise to touch the crystal.

  I took a few steps away from it and decided to look for another crystal point to head towards. As I was looking for the largest crystal point in the direction I was travelling, I noticed something else in the distance.

  A person was riding some sort of animal. I couldn’t make out if they were male or female. I chose a crystal to head towards and began to walk again. I kept looking at the figure and their ride. They were slowly moving towards the line I was taking to get to the crystal. Occasionally some of the crystals would reflect blinding bright sunlight at me as I passed on the exact angle to catch the reflection. My eyes saw spots and this made it hard to focus. Before I knew it a voice spoke to me, “You are human.”

  I looked up and saw the figure that was riding an animal. The figure turned out to be female and the animal looked similar to a horse.

  “Yes I am a human” I replied.

  The woman got down off her mount and examined me.

  “I was under the impression that only females were being sent through,” said the mysterious woman.

  “Sorry to disappoint. Could you explain where I am and what is happening?” I asked with a look of concern on my face.

  The woman climbed up onto her mount and put out her hand to pull me up. I took her assistance and climbed up onto its back. I was sat behind her. She smelt like flowers, salt and oil. She signalled the animal to move forward with the reins. We began heading in the direction I was walking in earlier.

  “They are bringing human females to this planet for breeding purposes because your planet, Earth, is to be destroyed within the week.”

  I was shocked to hear this and asked “why is Earth going to be destroyed?”

  “We have tracked an asteroid approximately a quarter the size of Earth on a direct course to your planet.”

  I was so shocked at that news that I didn’t see the town as we approached. It was made of all sorts of mixed materials. It reminded me of those slanty shanties you see in parts of china on the TV. As we approached I could see the women who still had the red marking on their skin, standing in the street, being escorted into a large building.

  “Welcome to the town of Ruck-Nor” said my female guide.

  I looked around to see all manner of what I consider to be aliens, some looked like humanoid reptiles, others like advanced evolved cats, sea creatures who were sentient beings. The town residents began crowding around my guide’s mount. They were staring at me.

  Looks like this was going to be my new home.
