REFLECTIONS ON THE SCHOOL YEAR

I’m going to be honest here. The thing that enticed me most about this contest was the gift card to Jennie’s. The best pizza in the world, in my opinion, and we are so lucky to have it in our town. Our beloved Yorkville. But anyway. I also like writing. So here goes. I think it was a very awkward hard interesting school year. It was my first year in middle school and I didn’t know what to expect. It had many ups and downs but I think our school community became stronger over the course of the year. We struggled with bullying and learning how to behave with phones and I think we really grew.
