Secret of the Mine: A Minecraft Adventure Book, Page 2

Josh Sadoff
instead" one miner said.

So that is how the miners broke off into two factions and one loyal to herobrine, and the other wanting the same rights as players.

The two sides rallied for their cause and each had army growing in numbers. Because it was my idea to stage war against Herobrine it was me who became the general of the armies of the aha! (Anti-Herobrine army) we armed everyone with a sharpness III diamond sword, and got snipers positioned on herobrines base with power 3 bows. The other faction of miners moved to the surface preparing for battle at herobrines base.

Day of battle 4-1-2016 18-36 army time.

It was the day of doom, even with our armor, our snipers how do people expect me and my legion to defeat herobrine and his miner and unwearied armies. I was about to mount my stead when a miner testificate ran up to me, and had a look of concern, yet was surprisingly confident in what he was about to say.

"My fellow testificates, we have come here on this day to finally rise up against our evil overlord herobrine. Many of you were slaves in the mine, some losing parents when the mines would collapse. Recent leaks have proven that when herobrine had an enemy he would send them into the shafts only to die of an instigated mine collapse. Many of you are now orphans and were enslaved to farm the villages. Today is not a day we will die in the mines to him, not another day will pass without remembering this day for today will be no ordinary April fools day, it will be the day testificates united against herobrine and his army and defeated them and no more will people die in the mines. The village will die NO MORE!!! We set up 50 iron golems and charged into battle.

I surmounted my horse and swiftly traversed the rickety bridge as skeleton snipers fired arrows at me and my men, I could hear withers and dragons awaiting us, almost teasing us for even thinking about going into battle. While we traveled across the bridge a testificate not paying much attention fell into the abyss below. We froze; they drew first blood and shuddered for we knew what was to come in the following days. All 64 thousand of us made it to the other side minus that lone horseman. The group awaited orders, and with a clear voice I gave my first plan of action as general. "We ready our TNT tanks and when the firework flare is launched we send out our archers to take out the snipers above. A lone quiet whimper was heard, and words of discouragement were softly said. It was unclear who was saying those words. Was it a villager? Or rather had a unearthly curse befallen on us sent from a testificate witch from herobrine's army? It disheartened some testificates and my army was starting to look more like a minor rebellion, instead of the coalition of the miners republic and farmers union respectively. I was stressed out; I saw the withers and enderdragons awaiting. If I didn't get the help I needed from my men how am I going to face herobrine? I tried rallying my men but it was futile. I sullenly looked back at them and said this as my parting words. Men as I scouted ahead I saw many things, yes they have snipers but we can take them out. Yes, they have zombies and pigman that can hurt us but we can destroy them. What I am saying is this; alone we are powerless, weak and a speck in the world. Together we are powerful, together we are unstoppable. With renewed confidence the spirit receded, with no negative energy to feed off of us. I sent the archers out and waited for the signal.

Time passed, and after a while we wondered whether or not it would come. Just as I was about to check to see what was going on, the flare was launched. I led the charge of tanks and swordsman to battle. I went to the nearest wither and started to slash at its heads. I felt its poison wither me down I felt weak, and yet I continued to fight. The heads started to flash, and I prepared for a massive explosion.

Yet, the explosion didn’t come and again time froze. Why does this keep happening time itself is breaking, things are happening out order? At one point I am fighting the wither, one point I'm attending, my own funeral. I am transported back to the present. Before time flows again I duck behind the exploding wither, and getting one last stab at its heads. The force of the explosion rockets me into a giant zombie the wither charges its heads, I dodge the heads but unfortunately for the giant zombie, it hits him straight in the stomach. The zombie with a hole in its torso groans as it collapses to the ground in a hard, boom the ground cracked where the giant was standing and the wither out of heads finally died too. I was so focused on the wither I had not paid any attention to my surroundings. I noticed now the true destruction of the battle. A large number of my men were huddled in a corner a giant spider blocking their only means of escape; I had the most powerful bow in minecraft in my inventory. With a single stroke I could kill the monster, but if I do what else could come and kill them. Yet these were my men, I must protect them any means necessary. I took out my bow and killed the spider, but the arrow went straight through like the spider wasn't there and straight into a leading testificate.

I was shocked; I just killed the person I was trying to save. I broke down and started to weep and started to think. For some reason the testificate seemed more human than the rest. He looked a lot like me actually, but a lot older. He was still alive, but bleeding out. He motioned for me.

"Pyrocreeper, I need to tell you something", he rasped.

I reluctantly came to confront the dying man.

"Pyro, you were a good man and I must say, I am sorry for killing you in the past." And he past away, gone even though some of us wish to live forever. We all go sometime, and this man apparently me, kills me sometime in the future. Why did I come back in time just to die? Well, only time can tell, if that's even reliable these days. I started to really cry, why did I have to die that way. All I wanted was not to be trolled and be miserable from this monster. If it were not for the spider illusion my future self would live another day. Didn’t doc brown from back to the future say that if you meet yourself the whole universe would tear apart!

I was devastated I now know how I am going to die but I also have more of a reason to go after herobrine. I gathered the remaining men and rallied them into battle. Men we just lost a great man but remember as long as we defeat herobrine today, no one else will have to fight to the death. Today we will finish herobrine once and for all. I rallied them to the fortress. When I finally got to the gate of the castle a sea of green blocked me.

  “ZOMBIES!!!” someone yelled.

I looked around and ran from the zombies, our group was disbanded. I hid behind a rock. When I did that I saw something above the gate through glass. It was a tent factory and all it would take it to exp0lode was a single fire aspect arrow and the entire army of zombies would be gone.

It all happened in an instant, I drew my bow, fired and activated invisible tripwire all at once. Once second I’m standing on the ground one second later the ground blow me is crumbling. The last thing I remember seeing was my group charging herobrine and hitting the ground...
