  I wish

  You weren’t the one

  To hurt me

  You always knew

  Just what not to say

You really liked to lure me

Into a false sense of hope

And for fun, turn right around

And just take it all away

  I wish

  You weren’t the one

  To treat me like nothing

And act as if I was some big piece of shit

  I wish

  You weren’t the one

To beat me down and then keep running

  Like I was something

For you to just fuck right over

  When you decided you

Needed to just be a bitch

  If this teaches me anything

It’s to never trust anybody that looks like you

Don’t come tryin’ to preach to me about memories

When you know that they don’t mean a damn thing

And what I might just have to do

Why don’t you crawl back to the rock you oozed out from under

And go eat you a nice big pile of shit

Don’t worry cuz yeah, I still do sometimes wonder

About you but only for all of the things I now regret

  I wish

  You weren’t the one

  That I find myself missing

Not understanding why I would do that to myself

And it does from time to time leave me wishing

That you weren’t a psycho fucking bitch that needs some help

Don’t tell me I still have a piece of that cold, dark place you call a heart

It all fell all apart like a weakened wall, and I wasted away with worry

We kinda almost let ourselves get back to speaking, even in a hurry

But nothing could be like it ever was at the start

There was so much pain caused and love all lost like it was none

  But don’t think it matters

  Cuz you weren’t the one

  You never had your doubts

  You never could be true

You weren’t the one that loved the other one

And you don’t know what I do

It’s to never trust anybody that looks like you

Don’t come tryin’ to preach to me about memories

When you know that they don’t mean a damn thing

And what I might just have to do

Why don’t you crawl back to the rock you oozed out from under

And go eat you a nice big pile of shit

Don’t worry cuz yeah, I still do sometimes wonder

About you but only for all of the things I now regret

You weren’t the one that needed someone in their arms

You weren’t the one to sit up late at night tryin’ to figure out

Why somebody they love would do them so much harm

  I wish

  You weren’t the one

The one I wanted forever and a day

  I wish

  You weren’t the one

That thought that it was all just some big game to play

  Everything I know…

It’s to never trust anybody that looks like you

Don’t come tryin’ to preach to me about memories

When you know that they don’t mean a damn thing

And what I might just have to do

Why don’t you crawl back to the rock you oozed out from under

And go eat you a nice big pile of shit

Don’t worry cuz yeah, I still do sometimes wonder

About you but only for all of the things I now regret

Don’t come around here knockin’ on my door

Don’t come around lookin’ out to find me

  Like you did before

But it was only about you

You moved out, and hurt moved in

And I found out what to do

It’s to never trust anybody that looks like you

Don’t come tryin’ to preach to me about memories

When you know that they don’t mean a damn thing

And what I might just have to do

Why don’t you crawl back to the rock you oozed out from under

And go eat you a nice big pile of shit

Don’t worry cuz yeah, I still do sometimes wonder

About you but only for all of the things I now regret
