  I spent the next few months fighting for food and getting occasional supplies from mentor.

  And wondering how my friends were doing. One night after Lupa had long fallen asleep I went out and stared at the stars wondering when I could see my friends again. Then a very heavy rumbling woke up Lupa and alerted me, I drew a buckshot arrow and prepped it for action and what I saw was a terrifying giant bang. “Aww crud” is all I had time to say as a giant red hammer descends on me. Months of training were all that saved me from becoming Sabol griddlecakes. I shot several normal arrows at it, it then retired to the land a few steps away and I shoot 3 explosive arrows at it. ,It growls and swipes at me with its pickaxe hand I dodge just in time for Lupe to bite a 2 foot chunk off it and brown blood seeped form the wound, it howled and I saw it's head and fired several explosive arrows straight at it. I apparently saw it was out matched and fled. I collapse after so long of a fight I manage to make it in the tent and fall asleep. I wake up looking at mentor's face.

  “Whoa”! How long was I out”? “About a few hours”. “So where is Lupa”? “Oh the wolf”?

  “Yes” “it's right here”. As Lupa trots by. “She really must be kept out of fighting. I have no clue why she engaged in combat with the giant bang” “but since you've

  taken a liking to each other … she’s yours” “cool” “your friends are just about done so let’s see who has a better shot eh,”

  Chapter 12: Meanwhile with Percy and Harpa. -Harpa

  Now I absolutely HATE the sight of blood despite the fact I know everything about remedies and herbs and such. So every time one of my brothers did some stupid stunt I had to clench me teeth and patch ‘em up. So when I heard our training was healing AND battle. Well if I had something better to do I probably would've chickened out. One minute we're in the square and the next a huge full scale war scene. Now Percy doesn’t seem bothered by this, but my stomach does a small roll, then a nurse goes up to us “thank goodness your here they get incapacitated just as soon as we heal them.” I’m starting to wonder if this is just a training exercise, a stupid one at that. Ah well it can't be helped. “unfortunately I'm all out of herbs and stuff so is Percy all our stuff is at home” the nurse sighs “your healers don't you have your staffs?” “Yeah but we have no clue how to use them and the knuckles are self-explanatory”. “True” “so can you teach us to use the staffs?” asked Percy. “Sure tomorrow though OK”? We nod she shows us to our rooms and we pass out.

  The next day we wake up eat breakfast and she trains use on how to use the staffs and another person teaches use different fighting patterns with both our weapons we are always sparing off on each other and quicker than we thought we tended to the injured and TRUST me there were some nasty cuts and broken bones. It turns out our magic works a lot like a magicians as the more we do the more tired we get and the bigger the wound the bigger the energy loss and every single task we do makes use able to do more bigger tasks then before. Later the nurse comes over to us and tells us that we have completed our training. While that sinks in she also tells us that Sabol Allison Zelda and mike have all gotten there training done as well and suddenly we are all back in the square. And all our friends had gotten complete cloths changes Zelda Allison and Mike all had on what I was guessing were magi robes Sabol looked like a mess with grass in his hair and mud all over him. I guess he had one of those wilderness survival things, with all the weapons that boy was carrying should have been illegal. At least the Uzi should have been because it was an auto. We chat all night long then hit the sack for a while.

  Chapter 13: Marden town-MIKE

  After a good night’s sleep I wake up with Percy shaking my arm “it's time to get up” “OK, OK I'm up ” “it's time to find something to do” he reminds me “ all right but no more Mushpangs all right”? He laughs “heh, heh, heh, all right man because today we are heading to a new town. “Where?” I asked. “Marden town” said Percy. “Oh” as we walk down the stairs we pass the girl's room. Empty. We walk into the living room eat breakfast. Afterword everyone else comes in. “oh your awake” said Zelda “we've been up for hours”. “I scouted ahead and I have a clear route to Marden town” explained Sabol.. Then we march on.

  We see the bridge by sundown we walk over the bridge and 3 guards ask us for ID in response we pull our weapons. “Oh the warriors from Farline, this way”. He guides us to a hut and says “here is where you sleep and eat during your stay”.

  “OK what’s the catch” he sighs “that you will help us against the Demains the tiny little demons with swords that terrorize out town”. We look at each other “ eh why not” says Percy “it could be fun but what’s in it for us”? “200,000 penya total.” I whistle. “Good night and we will call you if we need your assistance”.

  Chapter 14: Fog of war-Sabol

  I awoke far before everyone else. I woke up and just sat there Lupa came by I was wondering when she would show up. I pet her and stare out the window. Then the explosion happened. BOOOM that woke up every one and destroyed everything in a square kilometer of us. We don't need an escort we all jump out of the tent and my heart sinks. The battalion consists of several Scoripas, giant Beetleoids, and what I’m guessing are Demains, little demon things with short swords and some bigger ones with normal swords. I stretch and leap into a nearby tree and use my newly acquired 50 cal sniper-rifle and waste monsters as fire ice aura etc. are being flung at the army as support for Percy and Harpa who break skull after skull with their knuckles and the hired mercenary are hacking and slashing. My sniper clicks. I'm out of ammo! I smile and pull out the RPG and several explosions, then I run out of more ammo and start shooting the UZI and my bow and killing hundreds but they just keep coming. A Damien jumps up and kicks me in the face so hard everything goes black. When I wake up I see a hologram of some lady who apparently is there boss as she is giving them orders I look around and see my friends with tied up like I am and I hear “finish them NOW” what am I going to do I think desperately?
