  PART I

  Our Time

Jumbled anarchy and then the explosion of existence

Brings forth the unyielding power of the human resistance

  Obedient lives that defy comprehension

Break the mold, to make it to the next evolution

Before the tide turns, and anarchy returns

When lost souls begin to burn

  Ending at the beginning

The circle of fate and life, we have yet to truly learn

The times are close at hand

Must be willing to take a stand

Pick a side, no savior to be your guide

Too much faith in the creator, not enough in mankind

We will learn soon enough of Hell’s injection, into our souls and mind

Allowing the evil to consume our daily life

Revenge, greed and intolerance still the standard of our time

  Knowing

  Proclamations and boastful energy

Give pause to what the future is in front of me

Blank stares make it painfully aware the price I paid to be free

Disillusion and mistrust of the dream we’ve all been told to strive for

Seems like only a chosen few get to play, and have decided to run up the score

Kick others when they are already down, then demand more

No thought of what lies ahead

Think only of instant gratification instead

Time drags slowly by; others would have already fled

  Doomed players in the game

Know how close we are to the end

  Eternal Race

Preparing for the final great jump

Leaping over the vast toxic dump

  The abysmal void lies beneath

Pulling down those who decide to cheat

Inciting lure of the great heat

Do what you want, whenever you want

  Until you’ve been caught

Then lie to yourself to justify what was bought

  More than one right way

  And plenty of wrong ways

  That have becoming common place

Power and money the goal in this eternal race

  Follow the senseless order

  Only do as you’re told

Don’t listen to the logic in your soul

Sell yourself to help achieve the rich man’s goal

Forget that your mind is God’s greatest gift he gave to you

Follow the lust for money and power,

These are the ways of the fool

  More than one right way

  And plenty of wrong ways

  That have becoming common place

Power and money the goal in this eternal race

  Father

So now what, now that everything is gone?

Nothing is left for me so looks life I’m done

The one last sprinkling of hope is fading away

Passing through to gain a new way

Put this one behind quickly and enjoy this sunny day

The arches overhead hide the bright new spring

Still maneuvering around trying to find better positioning

Bland ideas that defy good listening

  It’s fading and fading fast

But a new but familiar voice will come soon,

  Similar to the past

Out of place in this time and space

Last in line among the human race

Late bloomer though I’ve always been

Rise above the depression and live instead

  Father’s tests never stop

Have to prove you’re worth the cost

  Survival

Last chance for survival before Hell starts its revival

The dark players get into position

The lost souls are out of condition

Soon aware of their fateful choice

To pacify and pander, believing all the noise

Righteous believers try and get the right tone

But it may be too late in the world of unknown

The dark ones strike the 1st blow,

Then strike again, before anyone knows where to go

  Unsettled and lost madness descends

Everyone now knowing this really is the end

Hell’s foot soldiers smile with delight

As chaos ensues, and the people succumb to the fright

  Righteous leaders become battle tested

And freedom becomes warped and molested

Early victories by the dark ones

Force a retreat by the good leaders in charge

Regrouping and resting, better prepared for the next barrage

Small but united, bunkered down and calm

  Good and evil, clearly divided

Is it the end of man?
