  Thank you to the diabetics who shared their stories to help me create mine. Lori, J.C., Kristina, and Christoper. I hope you like what I have done with the things that you have shared.

  Those of you that work with me, either in the past or present, Dr. Buck, Eric, Wayne, Tori, Jesse, Jamie Garrison (I gave Brice your last name as a thank you for the information on DKA you shared) Marilyn, and Connie, using your names was my way of saying thank you for the amazing dedication to compassionate care that you show our patients every day. It is an honor to work with you all.

  Last but never least, Mom, thank you for teaching me kindness each and every day. I love you.
