attend own funeral
i have a burning desire to witness my own funeral. the funeral director, however, has other plans for me.
see, he simply REFUSES to allow my the space (rented and paid for, of course) unless i block out his entire day. his, reasoning, he claims, that my living funeral might affect his reputation with the recently bereaved.
ive told him time and time again you dont need to be bereaved to grieve!
i have held my own funeral a few times, but let me tell you rented gymnasiums? they lack a certain je ne sais quo, especially when i’m hovering over on some yoga mat it
was hard to believe i was anywhere NEAR deceased with the basketball bounces of the practicing home team, it is nearly impossible to rent his entire space for the length of a whole day, so i must emplore you i am looking! for someone! to! split the day and/or the space to do with it what you will!

i lived in bushwick/ridgewood in a nice but infested apartment.
the bedrooms weren’t infested, i maybe saw 1 in my few months there but the kitchen was pretty infested, and i brought the juicer i received as a christmas gift in 2011 into the apartment when i began making apple juice for thanksgiving, i noticed that a roach crawled into the mechanical base, and there were baby roaches in the screen of the juicer. the bastards.
i ran the mechanics of the juicer to see if i could get them
out, and i tried taking it apart. the babies in the screen are dead, and i’ve since never seen a roach enter or exit the premises of the mechanical base. however, i grew up in an apartment that was completely infested, and the juicer makes me feel very uncomfortable, and it brings me back to that place of vulnerability from my childhood neglect.
it’s too emotional for me.
but different people have different standards, and you might be interested in using this juicer that is perfectly capable of producing juice.
it is a breville juice fountain multi speed, retailing for ~$200
