  To my wife Sephara

  “For always believing in me”

  A Day

  By: Chem Swift

A day without your presence is like a chronic pain.

My heart remains uncertain, my emotions indulge in games.

A day without your touch has left my soul yearning.

This love inside of me is forever burning, burning...

A day without your smile is like a never-ending trial.

My thoughts are released and my imagination runs wild.

A day without your fragrance is like a knife through my spine.

I’m better off dead if your love can’t be mine.

  A day without looking into your beautiful eyes;

I wish you know how I feel inside.

  A day without hearing your sweet, sexy voice;

Seems like a nightmare with devastation results.

I guess I am selfish because I wish you were all mine.

I don’t think waiting is a waste of my time.

No matter what you do or who you choose.

No matter if I win or if I lose.

You will always have a special place in my heart.

Because I have loved you, right from the start.

  My New Found Love

  By: Chem Swift

So simply complex, so complex it’s simple.

Like a star in the sky, that’s how my eyes twinkle.

Whenever I’m blessed with your splendor and grace.

I love you so much, at times I feel out of place.

I wonder how much you care for me.

Is love so blind that you cannot see?

Maybe you didn’t actually feel the same way.

If that is the case then I wish you would say.

I still can’t believe I’m in love with you.

I ask myself repeatedly, could this be really true?

One thing is for sure, I miss you dearly.

Please come home soon my sweet beautiful lady.

  Those Brown Eyes

  By: Chem Swift

I am attracted to a girl in my class.

She doesn’t know, but I have made a pass.

We smile at each other when our eyes meet.

Each time this happens my heart skips a beat.

I admire every detail of her body.

From the length of her hair, to the silk of her skin.

Her country accent and her sexy grin.

  Nevertheless, I still have fear.

If I express my feelings, I will be left with despair.

Her spontaneous attitude gives me a scare.

She could leave in an instant, without me knowing where.

Breaking my heart with those brown eyes.

The hardest thing would be to say goodbye.

How can I know what will happen?

Our elders claim every disappointment is a blessing.

I know I can love you for who you are.

You’ll be my bright and shining star.

  Breathtaking

  By: Chem Swift

Just a bit out of the ordinary, but a pleasant surprise.

Admiring your picture brightens my eyes.

Looking into your heart, searching your soul.

The love of your life is here to behold.

If you’re not sure, as you may well be.

Would friends be considered, acceptable to thee?

I must admit and I do declare.

While interacting with you, I feel you near.

  Love Inspiration

  By: Chem Swift

It’s another love story. Better than before.

The main character is the one I adore.

Another love song, sweet music to my ear.

Oh my darling I wish you were near.

  Romantic poems I’m willing to share;

For a moment of passion with you my dear.

A dozen roses to accompany your smile.

I promise to love you even if you’re not mine.

  Missing Minute

  By: Chem Swift

It’s ten fifty seven, and I’m in heaven.

Loving from you is definitely a blessing.

It is ten fifty eight; I hope I’m not late.

A phone call by you would most certainly be great.

It’s ten fifty nine, will you be all mine?

I promise to love you through the test of time.

It is eleven o’clock and my love is just beginning.

Lets make up for all the time we’ve been missing.

  To My Love

  By: Chem Swift

  I spend my days thinking of ways;

To shower my lady with loving and praise.

I spend my nights holding her tight.

Giving her presents and many delights.

I look at my lady, with the eyes of my heart.

I hope and pray we will never depart.

Yes I have faith, I don’t want to wait.

I wanted to marry you, since our first date.

Petals of roses I’ll spread on the floor.

Your feet are precious, and how I adore.

The smile on your face, your image of grace.

I sure love the way you look in that lace.

All I have belongs to my lady.

I can’t wait till you have our baby.

The crowning achievement from our trials in life.

Having my first-born with you as my wife.

  The Things I Would Do

  By: Chem Swift

Oh! The things I am willing to do.

For one more day to spend with you.

I would battle an army without a weapon.

If I could hold you for one more second.

Oh! The things I am willing to do.

My voice is not sweet, but I'll sing adieu.

To all the times you shed a tear.

I'll prove my love no need to fear.

Oh! The things I am willing to do.

Remember the time you caught the flu?

I would swim through an ocean filled with sharks.

Just to protect you from unpleasant remarks.

Oh! The things I am willing to do.

Could you please forgive your foolish boo?

I'll love you forever; I'll make this vow.

I'll marry you dear, right here, right now.

  Beautiful In Glasses

  By: Chem Swift

You’re beautiful in glasses; there goes your smile.

My heart has melted, love fills your eyes.

I pause, speechless, don’t take me away.

There will be no sleep, tonight I will pray.

My hero, a blessing, and the woman I love.

  You’re mine, I know, still I can’t have.

Am I cursed for wishing we were meant to be?

As I search for a way, tirelessly.

Oh how I wish, we were from the same tree.

But I’m honored to be considered, precious to thee.

  Could God have ordained this?

  Could this be a test?

If I’m right, then the answer is yes.

With great anticipation, I await your call.

I remember we hugged with our backs to the wall.

Adversity who, for he’s no stranger.

Holding hands, together, we fear no danger.

A kiss on the cheek, but there is something else.

We both love each other, greater than ourselves.

For I know there is nothing I would not do.

How much do I love you?

  No one has a clue.

At least I can dream, what could have been.

Impossible situations are difficult to win.

Should I follow my heart, should I listen to my mind?

  Who orchestrated this grand design?

Now lets be realistic, could it possibly work?

Repercussions are inevitable, even if we flirt.

Let’s clear one thing up, this feeling won’t go away.

Maybe the answer will come some day.

  Imagine Forever

  By: Chem Swift

  What next you ask, let me guess;

  Impossible situations causes distress.

  Discovering solutions, analyzing what’s best.

I never imagined I’d be facing this test.

Late at night I would hear your voice.

Reciting our favorite poems my choice.

Reveling our souls for each other to see.

  I’m searching for answers diligently.

Sleep well my love you are beautiful to me.

Could we become one and one become we?

Maybe I’ll hide my feelings forever.

No doubt this will be a challenging endeavor.

There isn’t a moment, when you’re not on my mind.

I’ve even thought of us spending some time.

Please realize, this was conceived in my brain.

It scares me enough to exhibit restrain.

Should I really, I mean we both want the same thing.

It’s not whether or not, but which song I should sing.

I am perfectly satisfied with the warmth of your breast.

Every night in your arms, may I comfortably rest.
