  In other news, Jasper Wolf was my boyfriend. My mind could scarcely wrap itself around that fact, except that I was happier than I had ever been in my life.

  If only my grandmother were around to hear about it.

  I wished I could spend the next few evenings settled in my living room with my friends, some lavender tea, and a bit of the card game Spades.

  But I knew that wasn’t an option, not yet; the next chapter would come very soon.

  Tonight, though, I would sleep and relax. Tomorrow I would prepare to meet the Witches’ Council at long last, and hear what they had to say.
