“Yes. She doesn’t want to take it to court.”
“Very well. I’ll draft the document and have it ready by the end of the workday. We can pick this up tomorrow morning for our clients to sign.”
Brian nodded and stood, shaking my hand before ushering Aaliyah out of the room. Joseph scoffed.
“Can you believe her? It’s bad enough that she was an escort, but the bitch had the nerve to get pregnant by one of those bastards.”
I clenched my teeth together to stop myself from saying anything I’d regret. He was my client after all. If I showed too much emotion about the situation, he’d probably figure out I was the guy that incriminated his wife. But I couldn’t think of her as just his wife anymore. The only thing running through my mind was that my baby was inside of her.
But that didn’t change the fact that she was still my client’s wife.
And I’d gotten my client’s wife pregnant.
Things were turning from bad to worse, but I knew one thing.
I was lawfully fucked.
