Kyrae Jackson couldn’t believe who she was looking at. Was that Prince Aelfraed Smythe? “Prince Alfie”? She glanced back at him once more over her shoulder and turned around with a squeal when his gaze connected with hers.
“Ohmigosh ohmigosh ohmigosh. Oh. My. GOD!” she screamed.
“What? Kyrae? What’s wrong?” her best friend Emerald “Emmie” Kafele-Gujjar asked her as she poked her.
Kyrae, known to her friends as KJ, simply pointed over her shoulder.
“Prince Alfie is here!” she yelled over the band opening for the main musical act.
“Who?” Emmie questioned as she looked over her shoulder, trying to see who KJ was pointing at.
“Girl! Tell me you can’t see that fucking fine ass man standing right back there, surrounded by all the security? Damn, bitch! I know your ass ain’t blind.”
Emmie snorted. “You mean the one who is headed right this way?”
KJ gasped and turned to look and Emmie was right, Prince Alfie, the finest man she’d ever seen in her life—even if was only through magazines, photos, and television—was headed right towards her. She smoothed her tight, short, black leather dress over her thick, dark brown thighs, reached down into her bra to “fluff up her girls” as her grandmother would say. Or to make sure they were on display proudly.
Then she turned back around with a seductive smile for the man she had every intention of sleeping with that night after sending her best friend a text message.
KJ: I’m gonna fuck myself a prince tonight.
Emmie: Get it girl!
KJ: I plan to. All night long.

And the way Prince Alfie growled, “Fuck,” beneath his breath, made every other thought leave her mind except one.
