Trudy’s books have received the Mom’s Choice Gold Award and the Cooperative Children’s Book Center’s “Best of the Year” award and have been recognized as NCSS-CBC Notable Social Studies Books for Young People. Adam’s books have been IRA-CBC Children’s Choices and Bank Street College of Education Best Children’s Books of the Year and have been awarded a Sydney Taylor Honor. Adam received an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York and currently teaches illustration in New Jersey, where he lives with his family.
