“It’s a big list.”
He smiled. “We have plenty of time.”

In the spring, they welcomed a little boy into the world. They named him Anthony Hayden Stalzer and made the mysterious man who’d taken her safety so seriously for a decade his godfather.
Likely saving a woman or child somewhere in the world, her protector sent a gift and a card.
Thank you for this honor. Your child, my godchild, will forever be on my radar.
Only something I felt was life or death would have kept me from attending Anthony’s baptism. Caroline designed this pendant for me from a photo I gave her. You should wear it until Anthony can. When he’s older, the gifts will get more interesting.
Take care of yourselves but know I’m always watching.

Kendall opened the jeweler’s box and gasped at the small platinum rectangle engraved with an image of Kendall’s childhood estate. It was on a long delicate chain.
On the back were the words seek balance in your universe.

There are a few characters and situations throughout the Damaged Series that trace to my series The Barter System. All eight books of the series are available on Amazon.
In the universe that exists inside my head, most things are connected. Sometimes, it’s deliberate and others…well, the characters take over.
My most avid readers can find the Easter eggs in my work but don’t worry if you haven’t read everything! Each book is a wonderful little whirlwind on its own.
I hope you loved Dirty Little Secret…keep an eye out for the other three books in the series that will be released in the next few weeks.
As Tina Turner said, “Welcome to the Thunder Dome.”
