I clambered to the side, and frantically pulled my clothes on enough to be decent. Breathless, I ran back to the front of the dwelling. Something, or someone, was coming. Something terrible. Something that would spell the end of all the dragons that I was trying so hard to save.
I burst into the same room I had first entered, and Myrik gave me a baleful look. “You’re dripping all over my things.”
I struggled to catch my breath, between the fear, exertion and almost drowning. Scrambling for words, I said the only thing that my spinning brain could think of.
“I think you’re all going to die.”
