They lay joined, slick and lethargic in the aftermath of their releases, stroking and kissing one another. Sara uttered a prayer of thanks for Christian’s determination and foresight. Without his persistence, she may never have experienced such love.
As Christian rolled from her, she grabbed at his arm.
“I’m not done with you yet.”
Christian’s mouth quirked. “As you bid, my lady,” he murmured before capturing her lips with a blistering kiss and uttering up his own prayer of thanks.
