They were both breathing heavily, trying to come back from the stars.
“Wow,” she exhaled, her looking at the ceiling above her head.
“That’s one word for it,” Keith grinned.
“Jerk,” she said with a giggle and playfully punched his shoulder.
He laughed.
“Hey,” she turned over, supporting her weight with her elbows on his chest.
He didn’t seem to bother.
“What was that, when you turned into a tiger?” she asked, curious.
She shook her head, beaming. “Exact opposite, actually. I loved it,” she admitted.
“Well, that’s a relief,” he smiled. “If you want we can repeat it sometimes,” he winked.
She grinned. “I’d like that!”
He wrapped the arms around her waist. “I’m really glad I’ve met you,” he told her.
“Me too,” Mel replied. Although I wished it would be in better circumstances, she thought, remembering the mugger.
Shaking her head, she dispelled the memories and focused on the moment.
Looking at him, she knew she could never let him go.
