“What’s going on, Diana?” Damian crossed his arms over his chest. Serious and focused. He loved with every ounce of his being.
“Sweet baby, we’d never doubt you.” Sterling’s heart was so big. He didn’t see himself for the wonder he was.
Lewis touched my back. “Feeling okay?” He always put others before himself.
Cash put his arm around me. “Talk to us.”
I swallowed. “First of all, I love you. Second, and I think this might be nuts, but I think I just saw … time travel?”
No one moved. I wondered if they even breathed. I took a deep breath and waited for what I knew would be coming. They had to digest what I’d said.
Whatever life would be from now on, I’d have them with me. They loved me and I them. I was so lucky. The room exploded with noise. I took a deep breath. We’d figure this out. Together. Time travel. Who knew what that was about? Paloma and the McQueens. The baby in my belly.
I was the luckiest woman in the universe.
