I was curious to know what was in the container, but did not see the connection between Khyron’s food preparation area and me pleasuring Cara until she cried out my name. “I am aware. I have visited the area many times outside of regular meals when I was in need of something additional to eat.”
“Why doesn’t that surprise me?” She set the container between us, then removed the seal.
The aroma of freshly prepared pyteinnas filled the air. “Did you prepare these…for me?” It warmed me knowing she had gone to a lot of trouble to prepare my favorite food.
“I did, but I have to confess I have an ulterior motive.”
“You do?” I took a bite, savoring the flavor, and waited for her to explain.
“I plan to spend several hours locked in a bathing room and wanted to make sure you have plenty of strength.”
It seemed Cara’s fascination with what we could do in the large stone tubs equaled my own. I looked at the layers of flat cakes and grinned. “I do not know if this will be enough.”
“We’ll see.” Giggling, she grabbed the container, sealing it as she slid off the bed.
She was through the doorway and halfway across the gathering room before I caught up with her. I grabbed her around the waist, tossed her over my shoulder, then continued heading for the bathing room.
“That is the plan, my lovely vrincorra.” I pinched her backside, enjoying the sound of her squealing laughter. “That is definitely the plan.”
