“I…I won't come back with you,” I stutter. My body shivers and shakes in reaction to his voice, to his words, as tremendous fear courses through me.
Although I doubt whether or not I am strong enough to fight him off, I will try. Dammit I will fight with all my might to try and protect my baby girl! There is no way I will let her be hurt and abused the way I was.
“Oh Kennedy- You stupid, stupid child. Do you really think you have any sort of choice? I would suggest you come without a struggle; your punishment is going to be bad enough without you refusing and putting up a fight.” He closes the space between us, until his face his just in front of mine. He lowers his head and starts to rub his nose along my jaw. I feel the sting at the back of my throat as the bile rises. I turn my head to the side trying to relieve my senses of his stale, stagnant smell filling the air, surrounding me, making me gasp for breath.
“You didn’t really think our Leader was going to let you go, did you? I can see why he has such an interest in you. You really are stunning. I was never allowed to touch you before, so imagine my joy when our leader sent me to look for you.” He runs his scaly index finger down my cheek, and I recoil inside, closing my eyes tightly.
“Seeing as there is no one around to witness, I think I might like to have a little taste,” he breathes into my ear; his tongue darting out as he laps at my lobe, holding my face painfully in his grasp. I jump back in horror, glaring at him as he licks his lips viciously. I shiver and shake in reaction to his vile, unwanted contact.
“You fucking touch me again and I will scream this goddamn bathroom down.” I start backing away, small tiny steps at a time. Despite this, he closes in on me, his stench so close now it makes me physically heave. My hand flies to my stomach, an automatic reaction to guard the baby against this evil. In a desperate attempt to escape I side step him and dart towards the door but he beats me to it, slamming his scrawny hand against the door, completely blocking my exit. He grabs my arm menacingly, dragging me away from the door and slamming my back against the wall. I let out a whimper as the pain courses through me.
“I decide when we leave, not you!”
“I'm not going anywhere with you so back off, just fucking leave me alone,” I spit back, my voice desperate and broken.
He grabs my upper arm with force, his overgrown, black nails digging into my skin. He starts dragging me out of the bathroom, my feet scraping along the floor as I try my hardest to resist. I thrash and shout as loud as I can, but my voice is barely audible. The more I try, the less comes out. I hit him furiously over and over with my free hand but he is just too strong; he is totally overpowering me. I feel his nails cutting into my skin, and I cry out as his hold intensifies.
My feet continue scraping along the floor, he is pulling me so hard and fast, I just can't fight back. Before I know it, we are outside and I can see people slowly emerging, finally someone would hear my cries.
With a second wind, I find the strength to thrash out and swing my leg in his direction, hitting him just above the ankle. He lets out a moan and temporarily loosens his grip on me.
I manage to escape his hold completely and pick up speed, running towards the parked cars in the lot. I run forward, never looking back. I weave through the parked cars, my heart pounding so fast, the adrenaline completely taking over. I stop dead in my tracks as a car door flies open completely blocking my exit. I halt before almost slamming into the open door.
I frantically look back over my shoulder, searching for the evil perpetrator. I step back and look for an alternative way around the car, my head sweeping from side to side. As I look back at the opened door, the driver of the car emerges.
My. Heart. Stops. Beating.

He grabs me, his powerful hands around my throat. My hand flies up, trying to loosen his overpowering grip. It doesn’t help. He shoves me into the vehicle with force, only releasing his grip when he has me secured inside the vehicle. I hear the faint sound of Cole's voice and despite being disorientated, I look desperately through the window of the car door screaming for him to help me. I bang and scream with all my might, as the tears stream down my face.
My cries are futile as the vehicle drives out of the parking lot; I know this is the beginning of my end.
