I am incredibly grateful for the dream that I’ve been blessed with and the opportunity I’ve been given to chase after it. I know this is just the beginning and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead.
Without a shadow of a doubt, my steps have been orchestrated by the great Author Himself. Since I decided to publish The Promises We Keep, I’ve met so many incredible people. I refuse to take an ounce of credit for the connections I’ve made with the wonderful friends who have provided me with a helping hand. I’m going to try my best to thank all of you now!
To my family—thank you for allowing me to disappear. Thank you for your patience, your support, your encouragement, and your love. The role you play in my life is invaluable; it’s also part of the reason why I’ve become the dream chaser that I am. The only way I know how to truly express my appreciation is to keep on being the girl you’ve taught me to be—I hope I make you proud.
To my Partner-in-Crime—I have no idea what I’d do without you. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it a million more times, God gifted my life with you. You’re my eyes and ears in Book World. You’ve helped me in ways I didn’t even know I needed help. You push me, challenge me, keep me in line, keep me on track, keep me on time—people don’t even know the greatness you encourage me to strive for every day. (Have we really only known each other for four months?) I’m so grateful that you decided you were willing to partner and put up with me! Your friendship helps keep me sane. Your support keeps me on my toes. Your excitement keeps me at the top of my game. Simply put—Megan, you’re my fav.
To the lovely Kaylee Ryan—you are one of the nicest authors I’ve come across so far. It’s still weird for me to think of myself as your fellow because I’m such a fangirl! You have answered every single question I’ve thrown at you. Your kindness, your graciousness, and your humbleness are just a few of the reasons why I find you to be such a beautiful person. Thank you for all of your help and support.
To the naughty Hayley Faiman—I just think you’re great. I love getting to chat and interact with you as we both try and figure out what the heck we’re doing! Thank you for letting me gripe and complain during the final stage of edits for Reckless Surrender—you helped me find laughter when I needed it the most.
To my Rozzies—y’all are awesome! You bring so much joy and even more giggles to my life. Your enthusiasm is contagious and your support means the world. Thank you for welcoming my characters into your hearts, for encouraging me with your yearning for more, for hanging out with me in the group everyday, and for sharing hot pics of your favorite eye candy!
To my blogger buddies—seriously, where would we be without our beloved bloggers? As both a reader and a writer, I’m so thankful for all of your dedication and hard work! For anyone who has taken on the responsibility of a book blog, go you! Seriously. But there are a couple people I have to call out by name. Ella at Escape-N-Books, you’re simply lovely. Thank you for not only welcoming me as an author, but also helping me in so many different areas of preparation and promotion. (And picmonkey—OMG, thank you for introducing me to picmonkey!) R.C. Martin finds it a bit awkward referring to herself in the third person, so she’s only going to do it for this one sentence. (We all know who’s writing this bio anyway!)
I’m a born and bred Coloradan. I will always claim that square state as my home! While I now reside in Virginia, the land of the Rocky Mountains is where I’ve left a piece of my heart and where my characters come to life. I’m a woman in love with love and filled to the brim with compassion for women like me, on a journey to find themselves in today’s society. I aspire to inspire my readers to do more than settle. I hope that my writing will remind everyone that she (or he!) is valuable and worthy of the best kind of love--the kind that is gentle, patient, faithful, passionate, all consuming, never ending, and leaves you breathless.
When I’m not writing I’m reading; when I’m not reading I’m writing...you know how it goes! I also enjoy cooking, baking, crocheting, and jigsaw puzzles. Basically, I’m an old soul with a young heart, nonchalantly waiting for my prince to come.
