Boone smirked and walked closer, shoving his hands into his pockets. “I called Spence and turned him down. I also told him I needed a special favor about a group of horses that meant a hell of a lot to my best friend.
There were no words to describe the emotions or the love he had for his best buddy. Sawyer gave a subtle smile before glancing toward the sky and he could swear given the recent storms he could see a faint rainbow. Shaking his head, he gripped Reese’s hand with total conviction. “Come. I want to introduce you to a gorgeous creature and one who guided me to salvation.”
As he walked closer, he gazed into the eyes of the magnificent horse and he knew, this chapter in his life would give him happiness. There was no more guilt. There was no more remorse.
