Thayne’s jaw dropped as he peeked back at Jackson and Emmerson who were glaring at them. He glanced down the column of agents. Every last one of them was holding back their laughter. When he finally looked at Sergeant Jackson again, the rage in the bright yellow expression was all it took. Thayne, along with the others, dissolved into peals of hilarity. Jackson and Emmerson looked furious while Stanger simply stood there with his hands on his hips, shaking his head. His lips remained pressed into a thin line for a few seconds before he finally gave up and snorted with laughter. Thayne glanced at Jarrett to see his eyes twinkling as he chuckled and for Thayne, the expression on his lover’s face made the entire weekend of hell worthwhile.
