Frantically, I search for her. I can feel her. I can smell her.

I fumble through the darkness, seeking a bit of warmth. A dull glimmer of light. I can really feel her now. Closer. So close.
“Catrina, my love!”
Heath.
Was that whisper my imagination or was it real?
“Heath…”
Warmer and warmer and warmer.
I can feel her smile. It’s sunshine and happiness and delight.
“Catrina!”
“Heath!”
Hot. So hot. So close. And fuck, it’s bright.
I’m knocked over by love. It saturates my soul. It puts me back together again.
“You came for me,” she whispers. “It took so long, but you came for me.”
“I’m here now, my heart.”
I hold her close and don’t let her go.
