The Villa Borghese Gardens
This park in the center of Rome is filled with so many beautiful trees that it has been nicknamed the green heart of Rome. The Villa Borghese Gardens are filled with fun things to see and do. There’s a puppet theater, a zoo, a restaurant, and a lake with rowboats. But kids seem to like riding the carousel best!
The Colosseum
This giant amphitheater, or entertainment center, was built almost two thousand years ago! There were enough seats in the Colosseum for forty-five thousand people. In ancient times, people gathered to watch all sorts of shows and games. Some of the games were really scary and dangerous—men called gladiators used swords to fight off wild lions and tigers!

You could fill a whole attic with Seb’s drawings! His collection includes some very early pieces made when he was four—there is even a series of drawings he did at the movies in the dark! When he isn’t doodling, he likes to make toys and sculptures, as well as bows and arrows for his two boys, Oscar and Leo, and their numerous friends. Seb is French and lives in England.
