“You’re damn right,” I say firmly, glancing down when I feel a little someone wrapping her arms around my leg. Without hesitation, I scoop up a frosting-covered Kenzie and hold her to me. “I got both my girls. Another baby on the way. What more do I need?”
“Nothing,” Ava says, reaching out to swipe at some frosting in Kenzie’s hair with a laugh. She cradles our daughter’s cheek with her hand, her shining eyes meeting mine once more. “Absolutely nothing.”

Ooooh, this book. I worked so hard on it. Endless editing, removing, adding, etc. I worried over it so much, wanting to get the conclusion to Eli and Ava’s story just right. I hope I succeeded and that you’re happy. That’s all I want. And if I made you cry, then that’s a bonus because let me tell you, I cried a lot writing the end of this book. These two…you might think I’m ridiculous for writing so many books about them, but I love them! I hope you do too.
