Whatever Psycho said to his father, made him get in his car and drive off. Ricio didn’t like the fact that Rodney drove away without a scratch on his body. He approached Psycho and got in his face.
“Why didn’t you handle that shit?” Ricio asked angrily.
“You wanted me to kill him in front of everybody out here, Ricio? I told him I would be by later tonight and he better be there. It will get handled tonight.”
“It better or else. I’m about to bury my brother behind them muthafuckas. He’s gon’ pay,” Ricio said jumping in his car.
The hearse was getting ready to pull off and it was time to head to the cemetery. There was a long line of cars trailing the hearse. It was an easy ride. There weren’t any incidents along the way. We pulled into the gates of Lincoln Cemetery thirty minutes later.
Max was being buried next to Reese and Maritza. When Reese died, we bought five plots so their family would be together again in death. Ricio and the guys carried Max’s casket to the burial site and placed the casket down. The pastor said a prayer and we let go eighteen doves in honor of the eighteen years Max lived on this earth.
After the casket was lowered into the ground, the crowd started dispersing to their cars. Sosa was kneeling on the side of the hole when gunshots erupted out of nowhere. People were scrambling for cover to avoid getting hit. I pushed Madysen behind a tree and snatched out both of my guns.
I saw the infamous black Impala come to a halt. I fired at the car and it backed up rolling over graves. Three more vehicles sped up with gunfire flying from the windows. Sosa jumped up with gun in hand, busting at the cars that had muthafuckas hanging out the windows with blue bandanas on their faces.
Taking aim, we all were shooting at all the cars without giving them a chance to get anymore shots off. A couple of people got shot in the process but we were all still standing shooting like we were at war in Afghanistan. I had a clear view of someone in the black Impala at and I let my tool rock.

I hit the person that was hanging out the back window four times in the chest, sending his ass flying back inside. A few more of their men got hit and they were retreating out of the cemetery. I ran toward the cars and someone fired three shots. Two of them hit me square in the chest while the other whizzed past my head barely missing me.
“Sin!” I heard Beast scream my name but it seemed so far away. It sounded like my name was being called in slow motion. My chest felt like it was on fire, then everything went black as I struggled to take a breath.
