She lives in a constantly renovated Victorian with her husband, two young sons, and two Irish setters.
Steve Winter came to work for TSR, Inc., in 1981, giving up the unpredictable, fast-paced world of newspaper reporting for the safe but sadly misunderstood life of a game editor. Since that time he has edited, conceived, written, and/or developed more game products than anyone can remember, including the ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS® 2nd Edition game and numerous historical games. His hobby is assembling and painting enormous armies of toy soldiers. He lives in a beautiful home in rural Wisconsin with his hard-working wife and the two most perfect human beings in the world: their sons.
