“I hope it isn’t freezing cold on the mountain. Maybe we will get lucky and the glitchy part of this game will let us be really warm or something.” Elena was saying to him as they walked.
But then Steve saw it again – a dark shape coming out of the clouds. He pulled Elena back and pointed. The figure swept through the clouds and was gone. But a flash of lighting filled up the sky. Steve’s breath caught.
“What is that?” Elena exclaimed, sounding panicked.
“I don’t know but I advise we run the rest of the way.”
“Good plan!” She shouted.
The two took off at full speed. The wind was forcing them back which made progress slow as ever. Had the wind gotten stronger? It felt as if the closer they got to the mountain, the worse the wind got.
He grabbed Elena’s arm and together they held each other up as they ran. The rain was coming down so heavily that at one point, Steve slipped. Elena caught him and helped him to his feet.
Just then, out of the clouds, the dark shape spiraled down towards them. It was going to crush them! Steve yanked Elena backwards so hard that the two of them hit the stone ground.
A massive winged creature landed down in front of them on the bridge. The force of the landing caused the entire bridge to shudder. Steve could only stare.
The creature in front of them was the Ender Dragon – only different. It had two heads and four wings.
It stared at them with its beady eyes and let out a roar so mighty that Steve knew they were in serious trouble.
