Other Works
If you're interested in magic and mayhem, give Under Witch Moon a try--my new series involving Adriel, a modern-day witch with a murder to solve--unless the murderer finds her aura first! Most of my other works are cozy mysteries. Some contain magic, such as the anthologies: Tracking Magic (Max Killian Investigations) and Sage (Tales from a Magical Kingdom). Catch an Honest Thief is a stand alone mystery, combining a stealthy caper in the New Mexico desert with high-tech gadgets. Alexia must try to save her career--and her life.
Acknowledgments
Thanks go to the real Holly who, I know, read this with great trepidation. You just never know what you'll be guilty of when a fiction writer gets going. To Cinderspark for once again diving in with enthusiasm and swatting errors with her wand; to Diane for spending time in my fictional hospital; to Irene for her eagle-eyes and bright-red pen; and to LeAnn because I cannot choose between toward and towards. To Joan because you not only my support my dream, you support everyone around you. And to Elisabeth for being the best fan a writer could ever wish for. All of you made this a better book. I would be lost without you.
A special thanks to Mom because she was the inspiration behind much of this story, and the best nurse I ever knew or worked with. She really did think about taking a rattlesnake into work in a coffee can although for different reasons. I think we can safely stop wondering where my sense of humor came from. And to Randy, my husband, because he puts up with that sense of humor and more than matches it with his own.
