“I love you,” Bo whispered, his warm breath a caress against his heated flesh.
Jag smiled as he replied, “I love you too, mate.”
Jag closed his eyes and sighed, he had never felt this good or complete in his life. Having Bo as his, standing by his side, sharing in his life, for the rest of their days, was the best gift the gods had ever given him and Jag would never disrespect such generosity.
His mind went to The Reckoning and the purge and a shiver of fear raced down his spine. As selfish at it might be, Jag was grateful to have found his mate, so that Bo would survive the purge when it came. His mate was an amazing young man and deserved to have a longer life full of happiness.
In that moment, Jag made a promise to the gods that if they helped his and Bo’s family and friends find their true mates so they would be safe from The Reckoning, that he would spend his life making sure Bo was happy and fulfilled in all ways. He would devote his life to it and to helping others in any way he could to find their happiness too. Starting with assisting Dell and Ridge in their quest to bring peace to all the paranormals in their region in hopes of a brighter, more peaceful future.
