And if you like strong female heroes who kick butt with a blade, then check out Blaise Corvin’s Mitigating Risk. It’s a great read with exciting combat scenes set in a world where just gaining level 1 powers puts you head and shoulders above your average mercenary, and clever use of abilities is at least as important as the abilities themselves.
