“Oh baby. That’s awesome. You should have called. Iona and I would have met you there so she could meet her Aunt Eira.” He says with a chuckle. It is a bit weird.
“I know. I’m sorry.”
“It’s ok. What did the doc say?”
“Well, Mr. Gentry, seems I am already pregnant again.” I say it with a look of disapproval, but he can totally tell by the look on my face that I am beyond happy.
“Are you serious?”
“Yes. Dead serious.” He picks me up while hollering how happy he is, as he carries me up the stairs. Laying me down on the bed like the most precious thing in his life, he kisses me.
“I love you so much little Hailey. Thank you for this life. For showing me what real love is, every single day.”
“I love you too. You never have to thank me for something that comes naturally to me. It is as if I am breathing in everything you are and making it a part of me. Like I told you before. It called to me. YOU, called to me.”
I have the perfect life. A man who loves me. A baby girl I adore and new one on the way. What is better than this? Nothing!!! Absolutely Nothing!!!
