“Funny you should say that.”
“Hmm?” He passed the soap over her belly.
“Scott Foster rang today.”
Scott was one of the workers at Hosts to Ghosts. “Anything wrong?”
“Nothing. He wanted to tell me about a case. Twin sisters and two poltergeists in a house in upstate New York.”
He dropped the soap and concentrated on making patterns on her belly with his soapy finger. “You interest me. Tell me more.”
She began to tell him the basics of the case, and while she spoke Jordan rinsed her, took his time. This is how it would be. Wherever they were, whatever they decided to do, together.
