Shawnee’s heart began to race when he sat beside her and took her face in his hands. “I’m sorry I told Reed. I knew he had a big mouth.” Snorts and chuckles sounded around the tables they’d pushed together to make room for everyone. “Maybe I wanted everyone to know. Maybe I was proud that someone as amazing as you not only agreed to live with me, to be my mate, to be the future mother of my cubs, but you agreed to take my name, to marry me the way the humans do. I wish I could’ve given you a ceremony like Nova and Callie had, but I couldn’t wait. So…” He lowered to one knee. “I’m asking you, here, in front of everyone we know and love.”
“I only tolerate a few of them,” Micah grumbled. But Shawnee couldn’t take her eyes from Colton’s beautiful face.
“Will you marry me? Will you have a real ceremony with me? Will you wear a pretty dress and say yes in front of our family?”
A tear slipped down Shawnee’s cheek as she nodded. “Of course,” she whispered, her words hoarse with the emotion she was barely keeping in check.
“She said yes!” Nova said, throwing her arms in the air once again. “Again! She said yes again! But this time I get to be there!”
“We all get to be there,” Callie said with a soft giggle.
Colton’s smile stretched across his face, and before Shawnee could react, he hugged her into his arms and stood so fast her stomach flipped. Nuzzling her face into the crook of her neck, he rocked her back and forth, her legs dangling in the air.
She’d gone through hell just to find Colton. She’d been forced into two awful pairings with awful men. She’d been forced to find another mate and had been blessed with Colton. And now, they were free to live their life however they pleased.
They were free to marry, have as many kids as they wanted, and raise their family any way they wanted. And there wasn’t a doubt in her mind that Colton would be the perfect dad. And she knew one hundred percent their daughters would be raised to be independent.
Their daughters would be raised to be strong.

If you enjoyed Colton’s Kitty, Lynn Howard would be eternally grateful if you left a review on Amazon. She might even name a cub after you.
About the Author
Lynn Howard lives in Cedar Hill, MO, where all her sexy Shifters exist. She lives and breathes hot Alpha males and sassy brassy females. She feels the most at home knee deep in mud and chicken muck and prefers to be outside under the stars, cuddled up under a blanket in front of a bonfire than in the big city.
When not typing away or feeding her chickens, you can find her fantasizing about hot country boys for her next book or wandering the woods in search of wildlife. She loves all animals and insects…except spiders. Her favorite foot accessory is barefoot and she owns at least twenty sets of salt-n-pepper shakers, yet only uses one.
Gray’s Wolf is the first in the Big River Pack series. And just like in Gray’s Wolf, there are more hot country boy Shifters just waiting to their turn for a little love and romance.
