“Oh, my goodness.” Then she started to giggle when Blaze nibbled at her neck.
“Stop it. Only I get to do that,” I growled, and he snorted. My phone rang, interrupting the moment. I pulled it free and looked at the caller ID. “Falcone,” I told Julie.
“Oh, put it on speaker. It might be something about helping your brother.”
I did and then said, “Falcone, I—”
“I’ve found them. I’ve actually found them!” he cried.
“What?” Julie asked, her voice high in excitement.
“The mating words.”
Our eyes met. A smile lit both of our faces. I quickly hung up the phone and pulled Julie into my arms. “Mine, forever.”
