Rowdy slapped Micah on the back. “Let’s go get something to eat. Luna, can you join us?”
“No.” She wrapped her arm around Julian as they walked toward the diner. “I’m on break.”
“We’ll hang out later.” Julian kissed her. Then whispered, “I love you, beautiful.”
“I don’t think in all the years I’ve known you, that I’ve ever seen a woman put that kind of smile on your face.” Micah watched as Luna went back to the grocery. “If this is the real deal, I’m happy for you, man.”
“It’s the real deal.” Julian smiled. “Now we need to work on getting you a woman that will tolerate you.”
They entered the diner.
“You never know, maybe she’s in Lucky.”
