She could tell she was in for a hell of a night.

Hours later, Sean looked down at his sleeping son and sighed in pure contentment. Luke looked an awful lot like his cousin TJ. Of course, some people claimed TJ’s dad was an awful lot like Sean.
“Hey, you don’t have to run off, you know,” Theo said. He was holding his son. TJ smiled from his father’s arms. Theo hadn’t been there for much of young TJ’s life, but father and son had bonded happily and now gave Erin hell. She was already complaining about too much testosterone in the house and how their next kid better be a girl.
He hadn’t known Theo a few years before, hadn’t known he had two extra brothers, but now he couldn’t imagine his life without them. Case and Theo were his family along with their wives and all the people Sean was blessed to work with.
Family didn’t have to be blood. They only had to be loved. Five years ago, he couldn’t possibly have imagined just how much love he would receive.
“It’s getting late,” he said, picking up Luke. “But why don’t you and Erin come by for dinner tomorrow? I’ll make pasta primavera and we can celebrate the TV show.”
Theo went a little green. “As long as I don’t have to be on the TV show.”
Oh, he had plans for all of them. “But I already signed for you.”
Theo laughed and rolled his eyes. “Yeah, sure. You better be happy you’re such a good cook. Speaking of, Erin made some pretty rocking lasagna if you haven’t eaten yet. I could box some up for you.”
Erin shook her head as she walked in with Grace. “Don’t you dare. I don’t want Mr. Fancy Pants Chef critiquing my poor food. Besides, it was actually frozen. He doesn’t notice.”
Sean shuddered at the thought. He would have to make sure one of them could cook actual food. “I think I will pass, besides, I already ate.” He stared over at Grace, remembering just how hot she’d been. “It was the chef’s special. My favorite dish.”
Grace’s cheeks went the sweetest shade of pink. She looked stunning with her mini-me on her hip. Carys looked just like her momma, and one day he and Luke were going to have some protecting to do. “Yes, I think we both had our fill.”
Theo nodded. “That sounds good. What was in it?”
Erin sighed and leaned over, whispering in her husband’s ear.
Theo laughed. “Well, damn, I think I need some of that. TJ, buddy, let’s have a story and bedtime. Your uncle has good ideas sometimes.”
Oh, he had some brilliant ideas, and the best one had been marrying Grace. He reached out and tangled his fingers in hers. “Are you ready to head home, Mrs. Taggart?”
“Always,” she said, walking beside him.
