Now both of them will be gone. All of my babies are grown and it’s sad, but I am so proud of the people they have become.
“If only we could have more babies.” He looks at me hopefully, and I laugh because the thought is just ridiculous.
“I think I am dried up, Smiley.”
He smiles wickedly. “I don’t think that is the case at all.”
I roll my eyes because, even after all these years, our hunger for each other hasn’t diminished at all—honestly, it has gotten stronger.
“I love you, sweet girl.”
“I love you too, baby.”

Remy puts the last of her things in my truck and shuts the door, and we both look at our parents’ house.
Over the years, I’ve seen the kind of love they have, and that is something I am striving for but, for right now, it’s time to raise hell at college. Remy, the other MC kids, and I have all decided to go to the same college, away from our parents.
