It is 11.13 pm on the twenty-eighth of August and I have just finished giving Jason his long-awaited and well deserved HEA.
I must admit I am very emotional as I write this, it has been a rollercoaster of emotions writing this duet. My writing style of leading from the heart is either my greatest weapon or my biggest enemy.
I normally thank my readers first because they earn that right in every book. This time however, I am calling out Belinda Donaldson, affectionally known as Pirate. My PA, my sounding board, the leader of my Flock. My friend. Without her support and encouragement, and despite her annoying ‘how are you today boss?’ and her ‘can I annoy you for a minute?’ messages I really don’t think Jason would have been written. So, with great love in my heart I say to you Pirate, Get Stuffed. ( Inside joke, don’t worry she will feel the love behind it)
And speaking of my wonderful Flock, I can’t not mention Iona, Sian, Kage Zee, Lee Anna, Amy, Charlotte, Nicola, Kim, Kylee, Vicki, Zoe… the list goes on and on because my Flockers are vast and many. I adore you all.
My two trouble makers from the UK, thank you for your memes, they keep me going when it is late and I should be sleeping not thinking up ways to kill off characters.
My Betas Amanda, Sara and Belinda. You three ladies are nothing short of amazing.
My daughter Tamara who made her cover debut for her mum. Thank you, baby girl.
