I found a quiet corner and called Sam, and then Momma, letting them know I wouldn’t be home anytime soon. Then I dug through my contact list until I found another name. One I never thought I’d call again. Taking a deep breath, I hit the send button.
A man answered and spoke quick and gruff, identifying the FBI’s Denver Field Office.
I cleared my throat. “Yeah, can you connect me with DSAC Bridget Dinapoli?”
