Colin studied him for a moment. “Will you at least accept the apology for forcing your hand?”
“I don’t blame you for it, but yes, I will.”
“Thank you.” Colin released a breath. “I guess we should clean ourselves up and meander out to the kitchen. Shane will probably be home soon.”
“Sounds great. Any idea what movies he’s planning to marathon?”
“Knowing him?” Colin chuckled. “Something with a lot of spaceships and explosions.”
Daniel’s eyes lit up. “Oh hell yeah! I’m definitely on board.”
Colin just laughed.
Daniel smoothed his hair again, and while his humor faded, his smile remained. “So, we’re okay, right?”
“Yeah. We’re okay.”
“Good. And I mean it—I love you.”
“I love you, too.” Colin kissed him once more. “Shower?”
“Shower.”
