      AUTHOR JIM HINCKLEY AND PHOTOGRAPHER KERRICK JAMES have partnered on three previous books: Ghost Towns of the Southwest, Route 66 Backroads, and Backroads of Arizona.

      Jim is an avid Route 66 enthusiast who has been writing professionally for two decades. A feature columnist and associate editor for Cars & Parts magazine, he has also written feature articles for Route 66, American Road, Old Cars Weekly, Hemmings Classic Car, Special Interest Autos, and the Kingman Daily Miner.
