"I'm catching my breath and then I'll take care of you," I said.
"Not tonight," Andrew replied.
"Are you sure?"
"This is your night."
"But I was selfish."
"No, not in the slightest. Giving is more important than taking."
"You said we will have other nights," I said, requesting his reassurance about this without asking him directly.
"Of course." Andrew laid at my side and I leaned my head onto his shoulder. "I like you. I want you to reach your potential."
"My potential for intimacy?"
"Yes, but most of all, I want you to attain peace-of-mind, Kieran. That is when you'll really know happiness and fulfillment."
