“No key?” Dan asked, then a moment later. “Oh.”
His little cat was clever, understood what the gesture meant, that there was no key because they were going apartment hunting together.
“I figured,” he drawled, to make sure there were no misunderstandings between them. “This place is too small anyway.”
Dan had been stuck in a cage, was claustrophobic at times, like the one time they went to the crowded mall. The last thing Asher wanted was for Dan to live in such a tiny space. He wanted to give his mate a large home, freedom to do whatever he wanted.
“Of course, it’s a ‘yes’!”
