Logan had never realized how much he longed to be a father until Emily told him, with tears of joy in her eyes, that she was carrying their baby. He was eager to give his child all the love that he craved as a little boy. As their guests celebrated the happy news, he couldn’t stop grinning at the thought of what a wonderful mother his baby would have and what a special woman he would spend the rest of his life with.
“May I have this dance, Mrs. Marshall?” he whispered into her ear as Dean Martin’s voice started singing “Everybody Loves Somebody.”
“You may have every dance, Mr. Marshall.”
